Description
This is a true family seasoning developed more than 60 years ago. Use Tex’s Coat & Bake Coating in the baking of all your favourite coat and bake recipes. It’s magical blend of specially selected tropical herbs & spices giving that distinctive, aromatic and delicious flavour will bring out the real tropical taste.
Directions: Dip the chicken portions into either whisked egg or milk (optional). Put some Coat & Bake in a polythene bag and shake until properly coated. Place the coated chicken pieces on a warm baking tray and bake in the oven at 390F/200c for thirty minutes or until ready.
FOR BEST RESULTS ADD NO SALT

Tex's Easy Coat & Bake Chicken
Ingredients
1 (1.5kg) whole chicken, cut into 8 pieces 100g Tex's Coat & Bake Coating Whisked egg or milk (optional)
Preparation
Put some Tex's Coat & Bake Coating into a polythene bag. Wash chicken portions and pat dry. If using egg or milk then dip the chicken portions into the whisked egg or milk. Place the chicken portions, two pieces at a time, into the bag with the Tex's Coat and Bake Coating and shake thoroughly ensuring that the chicken is well coated. Place the coated chicken portions on a warm baking tray and bake in the oven at 200?C/390?F/Gas Mark 6 for about 30 minutes - keep turning until cooked. For a more spicy taste, sprinkle lightly with Tex's Tropical Multi-Purpose Seasoning and rub in well before applying Tex's Coat & Bake Coating.
