Indian Butter Chicken (Makhani)
Ingredients: 1 packet Indian Butter Chicken SpicePaste, 450g (1 lb) de-boned roast chicken or tandoori chicken, 1 large onion, finely chopped, 110 ml (1/2 cup) tomato purée or chopped tomatoes (fresh or canned), 110 ml (1/2 cup) water, 110 ml (1/2 cup) double cream, reserve 1 tbsp to garnish, 3 tbsp melted butter
Method: Heat butter in saucepan on medium heat; add onions and stir fry for 3 minutes. Stir in tomato puree, water, cream and SpicePaste. Add meat, simmer uncovered on low heat for 20 minutes or until it thickens. Pour cream and serve hot.
