Description
Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish of fermented chilli peppers and vegetables. This specially created spice paste gives this hearty flavourful soup it's distinctive spicy, tangy taste which can be eaten with steamed rice for an appetizing meal.

Korean Kimchi Soup
Ingredients: 1 packet Asian Home Gourmet Korean Kimchi Soup SpicePaste, 500ml (2¼ cups) water, 150g (5 oz) seafood or sliced meat (chicken or beef), 100g (3.5 oz) Chinese cabbage or fermented cabbage (kimchi), 1 small onion, cut into bite-sized pieces, Chopped spring onion as garnish
Method: Bring water to a boil. Add onion and Spice Paste; stir to mix well. Add meat and cabbage; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 5 minutes or until cooked. Garnish and serve hot with rice.
